Found that my kinda old, but trustworthy Dewalt DW987 cordless drill had a cracked case, or “clamshell”. Upon searching for the part from more mainline parts dealers, found that it was out of stock / discontinued, and I was pretty much out of luck; however, I continued down the list of Google hits, until I found Kauffman. Not only was the part IN STOCK, but was cheaper than list, flat rate shipping was more than reasonable given current shipping rates, and I even went ahead and ordered new brushes to extend its life. A week later, everything is back together and I’m more than satisfied with their service!

Simply put the customer service is far and above the best I have experienced. Excellence in speed, communication and responsiveness. My tool is backup and running with a hard to find part.
