Needed a replacement nose cone for my dad's old B&D screwgun. Years ago, he had removed it temporarily to be able to reach a screw in a tight corner. My little sister found it on the table and, not knowing what it was, threw it out. We learned what she had done right after the city picked up our trash. There's been bad blood in the family ever since. Tried buying dad a new screwgun, but nothing doing. He says, "Modern tools are weak!" (He's got a point...) I looked everywhere for a replacement and the folks at Kauffman were the only outfit that still sold parts for such an old tool. The part was shipped and arrived 2 days later, just in time for dad's birthday. Some of the best customer service I've ever seen! We tried the nose cone out on the old screwgun. Fits like a glove! Kauffman Tool repair is TRUELY a family tool repair business!! I had been searching months for an obsolete "Locking Collar" for my 30+ year old Milwaukee Magnum Hammer Drill. I was referred by Milwaukee service center directly who could not locate the part for me and offered Phil's number to contact in a last-ditch effort to save this tool. Not only did have the part in stock they adjusted the shipping since it was a used part.
