Found that my kinda old, but trustworthy Dewalt DW987 cordless drill had a cracked case, or “clamshell”. Upon searching for the part from more mainline parts dealers, found that it was out of stock / discontinued, and I was pretty much out of luck; however, I continued down the list of Google hits, until I found Kauffman. Not only was the part IN STOCK, but was cheaper than list, flat rate shipping was more than reasonable given current shipping rates, and I even went ahead and ordered new brushes to extend its life. A week later, everything is back together and I’m more than satisfied with their service!

I needed a replacement shoe and bracket assembly for my 26 year old Porter Cable reciprocating saw. The part is no longer made and I scoured the internet with the part number. Every lead was a dead end as they were no longer in stock. I found one on Ebay that was rusty and beat up for $60. By sheer luck I came upon your business and sent an inquiry (close to the end of business hours) to see if the part number would match. Within minutes there was a response that staff wanted to confirm and would follow up in the morning. The following morning I received an email with photos of the part and the added good news that there was more than one in stock, and the price was more than fair. The customer service was fantastic and I received the part within 2 days. The Smarties in the box were an added bonus.
